An Hour to Remember

Yes! I admit it. I had surpassed Monday's workloads. And thanks to my great time management. haha, . . And yet I had dealt with it when Tuesday came, not the workloads but the time management. . .

Tuesday Activities. . .

Well, since Christmas is nearing, everyone in our office was on leave. And the only people who didn't apply for it were me(of course), my editor, my co-writer, our boss secretary and our computer assistant. And given that, the sequence guide for our radio program was still on process. We were actually rushing for it to be done since Sunday was the only day that the anchor will relax from Christmas holiday. We had agreed upon that we will record the news and the guest interviews, so we'll have something to air on the said day.

Oh! By the way! Our friend has arrived from abroad(i forgot the name of the country that she's been through), and asked us, if we were free for meryenda. And there, I left at the office and told my editor that I'm going to have lunch out of our workplace. . .

Powerhouse Reunited

It's nice seeing them again, I'm even surprised on how it turns out. I never thought that those things will happen again, because last time I checked that only happened way back college days. As you can see, we ate at Sbarro, and my favorite kuya/teacher(haha) treated us for meryenda (soo college right?) I was shocked then, but thanks much! =) Everyone has a gift for each other,(like even ate rez, who was not there "sad! =(") and I was ashamed that I had nothing to give them, my bad!. But I was happy that they understand and that my presence was enough for them... That's why I love them.

These were the gifts that I received. Thanks to them! =)

My friends were laughing at me, especially my kuya, since I looked tense, that's because I need to be at the office by 5pm. In addition, my only excused was to have a lunch out. hahaha but then again, with God's help. I made it to the office before the said time. hahaha

We hang out and exchanged stories about what's new with each other in just an hour or so, but it was something that I would remember. =)

First of First

So, this was my first time to host and attend a Christmas Party of not being a student. It's our party in my first job ever! hehe. It was fun though. We had played games like Pinoy Henyo, Eat My Banana, and Sally Went to Town. Add on to that, out of maybe my excitement; I sang songs in front of all my boss. Like, I didn't even care if I sang those songs well, or not. haha There were also tons of raffle which I won. weee! =)

With my Officemates =)

Okay, so that's me hosting...

You can only say YES, NO and MAYBE...

Wasted Time + Disappointment

Well, I had a very disappointing weekend. Like really. Because my cousin didn't keep her promise.

Last Thursday night, I actually joined her to buy a gift for their Christmas party, and since it was soo late, and the mall was just an hour open, before it closed. We had agreed on, that we will go to another mall, on a Sunday morning. Right after my out on the radio program that we're airing.

She made a promise then.

Saturday what to do's. sadness, and irritation... I was sleeping, and was in the midst of my dream, when my mom, knock on my door, waking me up, because someone will treat our house, and kill those termites, so even though I still wanted to relax, I had no choice but to wake up. And right there, and there I remembered that I haven't bought my gift for my officemate's daughter's first birthday. I asked my third or almost fourth degree cousin to join me at the market to shop for my gift. I had then joined my mom in watching and helping.

Dance Practice.... I had no problems with practicing our dance, but it irritates me when they leave me alone, in times when we need to arranged all the techies and sound system that we used, laptop, speakers, which they should be helping me, putting those things back.

Sunday wasted time... Right after our radio program, I thought that my cousin would come early, so I cancelled one event in my schedule, which is Yumi's birthday. Time passed by and I get sleepy, I had then sleep for a few hours. My mom was mad at me because all my plans was broken and she asked me, of what time will I buy the things I need for our office Christmas party the next day. I wanted to asked my mom if she would join me, but I hesitate because I know she's tired. It was 6pm my cousin wasn't there and my mom decided to join me and finally I bought stuff...

I realized that... when we have nothing to ran to, we can always count on our mother, they would really join us, when we need companion. I knew now that if and only if I had no companion, I will not hesitate again.

CHRISTMAS PARTY WITH THE KIDS

After long months of not seeing each other and not practicing at our dojo. Our sensei's idea of having Christmas Party has given me the chance to see my classmates in karate. I miss them. I was really shocked that they have grown up though.

Biggest Lottery Jackpot Prize Claimed

Thank God that somebody won and that someone claimed you already. With this, people will not be addicted to you anymore.

For the past few months, I've been soo tired of hearing, listening, reading, and watching news about the lottery--the number of people who bet, the famous people who got interested in betting, and of course the Jackpot Prize they will be getting in case they won. It was in those times that I mocked my dad if he won already, because he, himself bet, like almost everyday. And then, one day I was chatting with my friend when I saw on the facebook's newsfeed that someone won already. And I am relieved for the reason that the world will be back to normal.

To which I thought that everything's back to normal, I was scanning the newspaper hoping that the news about the lottery will lessen, but worst it increases. It was like the news was written in the 5pages of the newspaper. I sigh. Now, the problem was who won? what will you do first if you won the lottery?

News about who won? I read about the newspaper that a senior citizen woman claims that she won the prize but she failed to show the organizers of the lottery the ticket as a proof that she won, because she had told them that she only asked her nephew to bet a so called "lucky pick", 6 number combination will be chosen by the computer. And when he found out that the ticket won, he immediately vanished living his grandmother to their house. But the organizers didn't accept the claim.

After a few weeks, the real millionaire shows (old woman, a balik-bayan from New York) and got the money which she had immediately put in her bank account. From there, I realized that when the winner got the money from the organizer, the lottery store, to which she had bet at, will be receiving half a million.

After I read that in the newspaper, I felt glad that this was it! This was really it... Everything will be normal again. woohoo! None of those people will be blinded by money. =)

COMMENTS:

"I wanna be a billionaire So fuckin bad Buy all of the things I never had"-Billionaire by Bruno Mars.

It was perhaps the song that would fit not only for the person who won the lottery but also for the people who really wants to be a billionaire. I'll be a hypocrite if I would say that I don't want, who doesn't want to be one? anyone?

But if I will be a billionaire someday, I want it to be a result of all my hardwork and not because I won the lottery (that's impossible, since I never tried to bet).

Funny was it that a question was raised to the masses that "if you will won a lottery what will you do with it?" And I was one of those masses that they've asked.

And here's my answer:

Well, if I won the lottery, I will:

1. donate some of the millions to the charity
2. buy a house and lot (which I always dreamed of, since we were only renting)
3. buy houses which will served as my business (Like a house for rent, which they will pay monthly)
4. buy a car.
5. franchise Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwhich, KFC, Mcdonalds, Max restaurant and stuff.
6. enroll in an Exclusive School
7. have a tour around the world, of course, together with my family
8. watch broadway musicale shows
9. create my own magazine and
10. share some of the prize to my family

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Yes! It's 10 days before Christmas! and finally, I had arranged some of the things I want for this year. hehe I just hope someone is generous enough to give it to me... (I'm referring to Santa Clause though) I'm 20 and I still believe that there is one. =p

Here's my Christmas Wish List:

1. Bonding with Powerhouse
2. Bonding with SMP
3. Sony Ericsson Vivaz
4. ipod touch
5. Taboo game cards
6. DVD of Greek myths, Shakespeare's movie, and other movies related to literature
7. The complete set of books of "The Chronicles of Narnia"
8. Our car to be fixed (before christmas)
9. Pink Organizer
10. The Devil Beside Me (DVD)
11 An Unkindness of Ravens by Lucas Scott
12. Wallet (any local brand, as long as it is original)

That's all I got for now. Some of them can be bought and some of them cannot. I'll update it soon--I'll delete those things that was granted, and those I bought for myself. =p

The 2:20pm Movie

Last Saturday, I was invited by my friend Kat to come at her house for the celebration of her birthday "in advance". But unfortunately, due to our family's dance practice, I wasn't able to attend. And to patch things up, we decided to hang out today... But my plan didn't work since my surprised plan was revealed by her mom and my friend Pius didn't receive my text message.

Me, together with the Birthday Girl Kat

and with our friend Pius

In addition to it, since my home was far. I set a curfew for myself, that I need to go home by 5pm.

We meet at the mall and ate at KFC, and after which we decided to watch a movie. I actually suggest it, only if we can find a movie that would start at 2pm. So, after we checked on the movie schedule, we have found out that "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" was about to start at 2:20pm. Woohoo! it's really our day today I supposed. So, we had watched the Movie. And to give you a preview on what we had watched, I have posted the movie's trailer. =)

Honestly, I am really astonished to this movie, the effects was awesome and the characters role was played very well. Actually, Reepicheep and Eustace friendship got my attention, they really became good friends in the end. Plus, I didn't know that King Caspian was that handsome (hehehe) since I failed to watch the second movie of Narnia. I even thought of buying the whole set of the book. However, there's one thing I regret about watching this movie and that was watching it not in digital 3D format. I guess if we were only been able to watch it having the said format, I will add the words FANTASTIC and REWARDING to my "AWESOME" reaction. With that, I suggest that if you have plans of watching this movie, be sure that you'll watch it in digital 3D.
