Two weeks before the final exam, I’m hearing a rumor that I’m included in the honors list. I don’t believe in it at first. I don’t want to be hurt if I expect too much. However, when ma’am Miranda asked me to stay at the room after class, I get nervous thinking, why she’s asking me to stay? Is it because of the subject-verb agreement debate that we had? Or is it because of the rumor? So I asked, ma’am “did I do something wrong?” She said “no, I just want to inform you that you are included in the honors list.” I want to jump with delight, but I still stay relaxed so that my classmates won’t know what ma’am Miranda said.
After which, I talked to Ma’am Saba to confirm everything. Asking her, if there is a possibility that I will be out on the list; sadly, there is a chance if my professors will give me a grade of 2.50. I will be out. Okay? I recall my grades Sir B. loves me and I love him too, Mam G. always exempt me to all my exams, Sir R./B. likes me because I talk in class, though sometimes we argue about what he’s discussing, Ma’am M. relies on me though(omg! i’ll be out for sure, it is impossible that dr. P will give me a grade higher than 2.00, you know the story)

After Defense: Ika, Precious, Melai, Angelica and I ate at Jollibee to remove our stress. Out of nowhere, Ika said “basta pet2t, kung sino may marinig na magandang balita manlilibre” (omg! They know???waah, but then, I stay calm) I said “oo nga, dapat manlibre, punta kayo grad.party ko ah…”
They didn’t notice that I know what they are talking about, haha Effective!!!

Recollection day!!! Everyone congratulates me for I survive (acting mode) “thanks I said”. Precious, why they are saying that I’m cum laude? Precious answers “gaga, kasama ka nga, di mo ba kami nahalata, nung kumakain tayo sa Jollibee kaw kaya yung tinutukoy namen” hahaha…
