01-07-2011-21

It's my birthday today, but I'm less happy. Well, I'm happy, but I'm happier last year.

After New Year, I really look forward for my birthday; I always prepare food, or something just to treat my family and friends. But as I think about my birthday, I don't know exactly what to feel, because my birthday is also my grandfather's death anniversary, it's 18years I think since he died, I am 3 years old then. We may not bond with him that long but I know that he's happy that our family is doing great. We miss and love him soo much.

Happy Birthday to me!!!

Celebrate my 21st with my friends @ Tokyo Tokyo!!!

On the lighter side...

(Commentary/Opinion)

Facebook has been really popular to people these past few months and Text Messaging has been decreasing, I could feel that. For the past few years, I've been expecting people to greet me for my birthday through SMS, and I'm expecting that they will flood my inbox with their nicest greetings. But this year it was different, I received less text greetings and my facebook account was flooded by their "happy birthday" greetings.

Well, I guess we really want to spend less, especially for people who lived far than where I live. ehehe... But then I am still thankful because even though SMS greetings lessens, they did not forget my birthday...

I Heart you guys!!!

1hour to go!!!

Woohoo!!! My birthday is coming up in just an hour. I'm soo excited. Though I will be a year older. hehehe

Plus I logged out my facebook account on purpose--I want to surprise myself to how many people will greet me, or how many of them will not. =p I also wonder what will happen tomorrow. I hope that I will have a great day.

Goodnight Everyone!!! =)

Happy 2nd Anniversary SMP

Yesterday, I met up with my friends to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary. We ate at the Foodcourt and hit some notes at Quantum in Shang ri La. And Later transfer at GreenField for our exchange Gift.

What a huge gift. I can't believe my thin body carry this thing.
Therefore, I'm strong! hahaha

With this picture I got a story to tell... =)

For the past few years, I think singing was the most favorite hobby that my friends would want to do. Because every time we go out; Going to some videoke station was included on their to do list. Like, our get together was not complete without it. I'm not into singing really (since I don't have a good voice) I'd rather dance than sing. haha But then again, because of them I experience how it feels, singing outside. Like singing not only in my bathroom and room. (I'm afraid someone would hit me, because of my undesirable voice...haha) Okay. Enough of that. =p

What's funny was that, they would always key-in these two songs. For me to sing. I bet they love my voice or they were having fun of my voice. hahaha So the songs were:

Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now- STARSHIP/MYMP. It was first sung by Starship in 1987 and later revived by MYMP in late 2000.

"And we can build this dream together, standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers, we'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us, nothing's gonna stop us now
Woh woh oh"

And...

BAKIT NGAYON KA LANG by Freestyle and Pops Fernandez. It has too many versions, but this version was my favorite.

"Bakit ngayon ka lang dumating sa buhay ko
Pilit binubuksan ang sarado ko ng puso
Ikaw ba ay nararapat sa akin
At siya ba’y dapat ko nang limutin
Nais kong malaman
Bakit ngayon ka lang dumating

Ikaw sana ang aking yakap-yakap
Ang iyong kamay lagi ang aking hawak
At hindi kanya
At hindi kanya"

Exchange Gift with a Twist.

Have you heard of the Story "A Christmas Eve to Remember"? Well, It's a story that has words WRIGHT, RIGHT and LEFT and the rules were you must form a circle, after which you will be asked to listen to the story well and whenever you heard the words RIGHT or WRIGHT you will pass your gift to your right and LEFT to your left until the story ends. But it doesn't end there, after the story, you are required to asked 3 questions that involves numbers, and the answer will be the number of times you need to pass the gift.

here's the story:

Question... Why am I not in the circle?

It's always fun to be around with friends, let's do this again.

An Hour to Remember

Yes! I admit it. I had surpassed Monday's workloads. And thanks to my great time management. haha, . . And yet I had dealt with it when Tuesday came, not the workloads but the time management. . .

Tuesday Activities. . .

Well, since Christmas is nearing, everyone in our office was on leave. And the only people who didn't apply for it were me(of course), my editor, my co-writer, our boss secretary and our computer assistant. And given that, the sequence guide for our radio program was still on process. We were actually rushing for it to be done since Sunday was the only day that the anchor will relax from Christmas holiday. We had agreed upon that we will record the news and the guest interviews, so we'll have something to air on the said day.

Oh! By the way! Our friend has arrived from abroad(i forgot the name of the country that she's been through), and asked us, if we were free for meryenda. And there, I left at the office and told my editor that I'm going to have lunch out of our workplace. . .

Powerhouse Reunited

It's nice seeing them again, I'm even surprised on how it turns out. I never thought that those things will happen again, because last time I checked that only happened way back college days. As you can see, we ate at Sbarro, and my favorite kuya/teacher(haha) treated us for meryenda (soo college right?) I was shocked then, but thanks much! =) Everyone has a gift for each other,(like even ate rez, who was not there "sad! =(") and I was ashamed that I had nothing to give them, my bad!. But I was happy that they understand and that my presence was enough for them... That's why I love them.

These were the gifts that I received. Thanks to them! =)

My friends were laughing at me, especially my kuya, since I looked tense, that's because I need to be at the office by 5pm. In addition, my only excused was to have a lunch out. hahaha but then again, with God's help. I made it to the office before the said time. hahaha

We hang out and exchanged stories about what's new with each other in just an hour or so, but it was something that I would remember. =)

First of First

So, this was my first time to host and attend a Christmas Party of not being a student. It's our party in my first job ever! hehe. It was fun though. We had played games like Pinoy Henyo, Eat My Banana, and Sally Went to Town. Add on to that, out of maybe my excitement; I sang songs in front of all my boss. Like, I didn't even care if I sang those songs well, or not. haha There were also tons of raffle which I won. weee! =)

With my Officemates =)

Okay, so that's me hosting...

You can only say YES, NO and MAYBE...

Wasted Time + Disappointment

Well, I had a very disappointing weekend. Like really. Because my cousin didn't keep her promise.

Last Thursday night, I actually joined her to buy a gift for their Christmas party, and since it was soo late, and the mall was just an hour open, before it closed. We had agreed on, that we will go to another mall, on a Sunday morning. Right after my out on the radio program that we're airing.

She made a promise then.

Saturday what to do's. sadness, and irritation... I was sleeping, and was in the midst of my dream, when my mom, knock on my door, waking me up, because someone will treat our house, and kill those termites, so even though I still wanted to relax, I had no choice but to wake up. And right there, and there I remembered that I haven't bought my gift for my officemate's daughter's first birthday. I asked my third or almost fourth degree cousin to join me at the market to shop for my gift. I had then joined my mom in watching and helping.

Dance Practice.... I had no problems with practicing our dance, but it irritates me when they leave me alone, in times when we need to arranged all the techies and sound system that we used, laptop, speakers, which they should be helping me, putting those things back.

Sunday wasted time... Right after our radio program, I thought that my cousin would come early, so I cancelled one event in my schedule, which is Yumi's birthday. Time passed by and I get sleepy, I had then sleep for a few hours. My mom was mad at me because all my plans was broken and she asked me, of what time will I buy the things I need for our office Christmas party the next day. I wanted to asked my mom if she would join me, but I hesitate because I know she's tired. It was 6pm my cousin wasn't there and my mom decided to join me and finally I bought stuff...

I realized that... when we have nothing to ran to, we can always count on our mother, they would really join us, when we need companion. I knew now that if and only if I had no companion, I will not hesitate again.
